28 February - 1 March in hotel “Sheraton Metekhi Palace” international conference was held on the issues of lifetime appointment, probation period and monitoring and appraisal of judges. Representative of judiciary, legislative and executive branches of government attended the conference.

After new amendments of Georgian Constitution were enacted in 2013 principle of lifetime tenure and of institution of probation period for three years were introduced to Georgian legislation.
