Tbilisi Court of Appeals has delivered a judgement about defendant L.T.’s case. As a result the term of the penalty has been reduced.
L.T. was charged in homicide attempt. At the first instance this crime was qualified as a homicide (Atricle 19, 108 of Criminal Code of Georgia) and the defendant was imposed the imprisonment penalty for 7 years.
After appealing, Tbilisi Court of Appeals changed the judgement and according to the amnesty the penalty was reduced by half and finally, L.T. was imposed the imprisonment for 3 years da 6 months.
