Giorgi Mirotadze, a judge of the Investigative Penal of Tbilisi Court of Appeals, has changed the judgement of Tbilisi City Court and regulated the custody preventive measure instead of the bail for defendant K.T..
The Defendant K.T. was charged in bribery crime which is provided in the article 339 (paragraph II) of Criminal Code of Georgia.
By the fact of the matter, K.T. cut different breed of trees illegally. He endamaged about 85000 lari to the Environment, so he offered to the official 30000 lari to reduce the money of that damage.
Prosecutar claimed to regulate the custody preventive measure for the accused, but Shorena Guntsadze, a judge of Tbilisi City Court, didn’t sustain objection and regulated the bail preventive measure (30000 lari).
That judgement was appealed in the Investigative Penal of Tbilisi Court of Appeals by the prosecutor. He claimed to annul the judgement and used the custody preventive measure for the defendant.
